Maple  View Stables is a family owned and operated equestrian facility. Located 10 minutes outside of Kemptville on 50 beautiful rolling acres. We pride ourselves in excellent equine care. 

Erin Gagnon is the Owner, coach, and trainer at Maple View Stables. She is a certified Equine Canada Competition Coach 1. She has been riding and competing for 35 years, coaching and training for 25 years. She has competed extensively in Hunter/Jumper and Dressage and has also competed in Eventing.  She has judged at numerous grass roots Hunter/Jumper and Dressage shows in the Ottawa Valley. This veteran competitor and award-winning rider believes that horses and humans need to develop a solid foundation in dressage in order to achieve success in gymnastics and jumping. Training the basic skills must not be rushed and must instead be taught with patience, persistence and above all consistency.

She has trained with numerous high level riders and coaches such as Amanda Hay, Colleen Howard, Susanne Dutt-Roth, Liz Steacie, Mel Gromoff, and Kim Crawford. She has attended numerous clinics to maintain her education and proficiency in the sport. Some clinicians she had worked with are Olympic Rider Jill Henselwood, Grand Prix competitor Paul Halpern, Grand Prix competitors Amy and Jonathan Miller, Dressage rider Eddo Hoekstra, Grand Prix Dressage rider Andea Bresse.
